Transart Institute Seeks Artist Teachers in Low-residency MFA & PhD

Transart Institute,ÂBerlin & New York CityÂ

Transart seeks Artist Teachers to conduct two five day and several one day interdisciplinary creative workshops/seminars/tours (especially innovative format instructions, all topically driven) and give critiques in Transart's Low Residency MFA & PhD Program summer 2013 in Beriln, Germany. Additional possibility to mentor student's with their independent projects during the year. Classes at Transart address development of artistic praxis rather than training in certain media or authoring tools, challenging students to think conceptually and work creatively in new ways.

Graduate level teaching experience a plus. Please submit CV and a brief (100 words) proposal by March 30, 2013 toÂ[email protected]. Please indicate your availability between July 19 and August 9, 2013 in Berlin.Â
