Für das diesjährige Project Space Festival, werden sich alle Teilnehmer damit
einverstanden erklären, dass der Kreuzberg Pavillon als Ort der Ausstellung
nur exakt fünf Minuten geöffnet sein wird. Mit der Reduzierung der
Öffnungszeiten wird sich sowohl die Wahrnehmung, wie auch die
Erwartungshaltung gegenüber dem Ausstellungsraum drastisch verändern.
Durch die geplante Schließung des Ortes kurz nach seiner Eröffnung,
möchten wir neugierig fragen : Wie werden sich die Beteiligten auf die
Situation vorbereiten, die nur flüchtig wahrnehmbar sein wird? Welche
räumliche Dynamik bildet sich im Zusammenhang mit diesem Experiment?

For our presentation at this year’s Project Space Festival, all participants must
agree that Kreuzberg Pavillon, as the venue of the exhibition, is open for
exactly five minutes only. By reducing the opening hours, both the perception
and the anticipation of the space are drastically altered. By planning to shut
down the place shortly after the opening we are curious to investigate the
question: How will participants prepare for a situation that is only fleetingly
perceptible? What could the possible spatial dynamics of this experimental
setting be?
