Holy day is a Nepalise celebration of harvest end, Gods, colour and spectacle. Holy day is interactive, you don't just sit back and say(rightfully) "Wow, check out the amazing colurs." Today, you exist as colour. >From golden morning to bronzed afternoon, kids, grandparents, tourists, friends and enemies, all have only one thing in mind; splattering as much vibrantly coloured chalk powder, paint and water on as many people as they possibly can. >From balconies, trees, cars, motorbikes, or immersed in the street combat zone, you view total strangers as your canvas, intent on creating a communal, techniflourescent, living, moving, breathing masterpiece. So my people, needless to say Nepal is painting my soul with bedazzling glory. Sometime within the next week I am going to set off for about a month, on a Himalayan adventure, following ancient trade routes around the Annapurna section of these colossal mountains. Even those of you who don't subscribe to the notion of energy flux, you cannot deny, or even doubt for a minute, that these mountains exude energy. They even produce a surplus of this energy and therefore sustain a kind of consciousness economy.
