Point taken. I would however note that virtually no one is willing to talk about what I do on the internet on these lists. It is considered career suicide, because I am not in the circle of commissioned workers. For example, compare my page http://www.geocities.com/genius-2000/SFMOMA82700.html to the SFMOMA's real page at sfmoma.org (their 010101 show in particular). I don't just mean people prefer not to discuss Genius 2000. I mean, most people explicitly refuse to, even upon multiple requests from various diverse sources. Genius 2000 has also been censored quite often off the major art-listservs. I often receive private emails of support and encouragement which end with the reservation that discussing Genius 2000 is too imprudent to be done in public (i.e. on the lists). I also think Genius 2000 has quite a lot to say about the medium in general, and the medium in general is presently in a state of dormancy.
