[Nettime-bold] RE: <nettime> Italian antiwar movement winning - CNN swindling |
We may think "more false Indymedia rumours about CNN..." after the
Palestinian debacle. But this one is confirmed by some research by an
Italian colleague of mine.
The "wonderfully bourgeois" RAI News reports 40K pro/100K anti.
More amazingly, CNN Italy still has it the right way round: 40K pro, 100K
anti. See this link:
http://www.cnnitalia.it/2001/ITALIA/11/10/cortei/index.html
This one looks worth piling in on.

Subject: <nettime> Italian antiwar movement winning - CNN swindling
look at CNN sudden inversion of protestors numbers.
http://nyc.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=14120&group=webcast
the same did the boston globe and, i suppose, most of the US mainstream

Realistic esteems of protestors in Rome (main italian newspapers like
Corriere and Repubblica) are 130.000 antiwar / 30.000 prowar
please forward this message to media censorship related mailing lists and
send protest emails to CNN.
