"Paolo Cirio will present his intervention-based artworks that unsettled the French police and Interior Minister, global banks playing in the offshore world, and Internet big-tech companies. The lecture will culminate by focusing on his recent works about the Carbon Majors and his Climate Tribunal.

Cirio's interventions are based on his investigations and Evidence Aesthetics that he shows with data, installations and public art. At La Générale Cirio will discuss the ethics of digital surveillance, financialization by global corporations, jurisdictional global economics, and how both activists and governments can exploit these systems.

Ultimately the Climate Crisis bring these systems together, with questions on cultural perceptions that art can shatter by exposing hidden information and connections. Through his recent Climate Tribunal, Cirio investigated the major oil, gas and coal companies with data, photos, graphs and documents to seek financial compensation from those who have caused the climate crisis on a massive scale."
