<nettime> pacifism in video games

new artistic possibilities open with us... of intervening in the plays
vid�os violent one (unreal tournament) in favour of peace. This day
(10/04/2000), on a server where was played a " death match " between many
players, Thierry Th�olier and Bobig organized a sitting in favour of peace
in the video games (unreal tournament) in network. Like the many pacifist
ones before them, they were killed... the culprit always runs but the action
was beautiful and will have surely an impact for the future generations
players in network

de nouvelles possibilit�s artistiques s'ouvrent � nous...
intervenir dans les jeux vid�os violents (unreal tournament) en faveur de la
paix.
Ce jour (10/04/2000) , sur un serveur o� se jouait un "match � mort" entre
de nombreux joueurs, Thierry Th�olier et Bobig ont organis� un sitting en
faveur de la paix dans les jeux vid�os en r�seau.
Comme de nombreux pacifistes avant eux , ils ont �t� tu�s...
le coupable court toujours mais l'action fut belle et aura s�rement un
impact pour les g�n�rations futures de joueurs en r�seau.
