Re: <nettime> more on Kittler |
Dear Yoni, I think your point is well taken. Nettime--and I may instantly be proven wrong--has not attracted that many posts on the "embodied, anthropological experience of another person." I am glad you consider it an important contribution to discourse. I my few posts, largely of this nature, I've always felt tangential or irrelevant as well as a bit transgressive and am somewhat embarassed afterward. It would be fair to note that the comments that made me question whether there was a place for me on nettime were made from behind the scenes. Since my post I have also received behind the scenes encouragement, for which I am thankful. I suggest that your post be considered an encouragement to all those who might be holding back on posting their "lived and specific experiences of race, class and gender" wherever they might enrich our knowledge of things nettime. Best wishes, Margaret On Nov 22, 2011, at 11:58 AM, [email protected] wrote: > hi margaret, > i am not a woman but I do appreciate so much that you posted this # distributed via <nettime>: no commercial use without permission # <nettime> is a moderated mailing list for net criticism, # collaborative text filtering and cultural politics of the nets # more info: http://mx.kein.org/mailman/listinfo/nettime-l # archive: http://www.nettime.org contact: [email protected]
