So - they are going to extort a couple bucks out of you to protect
your identity in the .cn space?

If a scam is above-board legally, is it really a scam?

In Jonathan Franzen's The Corrections there's a university professor
who loses his job under sordid circumstances, and ends up being hired
to edit the grammar and spelling on a ponzi scheme website.

I'm kind of glad the scammers generally don't do that.

PS - My parter and dad, who live thousands of miles apart, both
received phone calls this week from "Windows Support".
