In Madrid, around 2011, with all the social unrest, the local Occupy movement (15-M) and everything that came after (the rise of Podemos and a right wing party that won the 2012 elections with absolute majority), there was one helicopter "parked" permanently parked on top of the city. For a while, it became such a permanent feature that someone created its own Twitter account:

It's still alive today, but it's not the same.
