<nettime> administrativa: bouncing mail |
Greetings. For whatever reason, more and more people seem to be subscribing to the list through web-based email service addresses, filtering their mail and autoforwarding it alternate addresses, etc. etc.-- with the result that more and more mail is getting bounced by ex- pired accounts, overflowing mailboxes, and so on. This is a kind of hidden spam that hardly anyone sees but is no less a waste of resources--bandwidth, storage, CPU and human effort. Worse, it's almost impossible to track down, short of nuking the subscribers list and asking everyone to manually resubscribe. So, if you did something like this, please check that your affairs are in order.
