UITNODIGING WORKSHOP EN PRESENTATIES

In navolging van de "Open Source Real time video effects"-workshop 
http://www.piksel.no/ die afgelopen week bij Bek in Noorwegen heeft 
plaatsgevonden zijn er dinsdag 11 november verschillende activteiten bij 
Waag Society waarbij divese deelnemers van de Noorse workshop ingaan op de 
ontwikkelingen van afgelopen week.

s'Avonds geeft Kentaru Fukuchi een presentatie geven van zijn werk. Kentaru 
is een expert op het gebied van "real time effects strategy on linux"  en 
het ontwikkelen van alternatieven op het gebied van interactie tussen mens

Waag Society hands on workshop Open Source Real time video effects

15.00 o'clock hands on workshop
Introduction to "transformators" and protoquadro's concepts by Federico 
Bonelli, coordinator of the SUb multimedia re_serch lab SUb is a collective 
of multimedia artists and researchers involved in audio-visual 
experimentation, production and networking.

People participating will be invited to look at the piksel wiki. Keep an

Jaromil is a free software programmer and streaming media pioneer, the 
rastafari coder of dyne.org has his page on http://rastasoft.org

As a programmer he is author and mantainer of three free softwares (GNU 
GPL): MuSE, FreeJ and HasciiCam; also author of the GNU/Linux distribution 
[dyne:bolic]: a bootable CD offering an easy to use operating system 
(without the need for an hard disk installation) and a toolkit useful for 
media hacktivism and online radio streaming. Currently Jaromil is an 
artist-in-residence at Montevideo-Amsterdam.

Kentaru is an expert of real time effects strategy on linux and on 
interaction on human body and computers with alternative approaches. He is 
a graduate student at the tokio institute of technology and will be in 
europe for another event in Norway this November.
