[2] Sniff, Scrape, Crawl: Public Lecture series

initiated by Master Media Design & Communication: Networked

- Feb. 8: Seda Guerses & Michelle Teran
- Feb. 16: Dmytri Kleiner & Mirko Tobias Schaefer

In the past surveillance technologies belonged to governmental agencies
and the military domain, but today the web has fostered a less optically
driven and participatory means of both monitoring and monetizing our
intimately lived experiences. Bringing together artists, programmers and
theorists, *Sniff, Scrape, Crawl...* is a series of lectures and
presentations reflecting on the porous borders of privacy in the digital
age.

Public Lecture/Presentation: Seda Guerses & Michelle Teran
Date: Tuesday, 08/02/2011
Time: 19:30
Location: Mauritsstraat 36, Rotterdam

Department of Electrical Engineering in K.U. Leuven, Belgium. She has a

and social networks in urban environments. She is also a current
research fellow at the National Academy of Art in Bergen.
