scroll down for English version ************************************************************************ comunicat de presa Lansarea publicatiei RO-MD/Moldova in doua scenarii Perioada: 22 May, 2009, ora 18.00, Locatie: Centrul pentru Arta Contemporana, Chisinau [KSAK], Rep. Moldova Adresa (sediul nou): str. Banulescu Bodoni 5, ap-2, Chisinau Publicatia proiectului totalizeaza sensul interactiuni dintre artistii si expertii implicati in proiect, dar si rezultatele investigarii si cercetarii unor aspecte ce au prezentat interes pentru practica artei contemporane. Publicatia include proiecte de arta vizuala si texte, eseuri si alte contributii rezultate in urma atelierelor interdisciplinare, sesiunilor de productie si a seminariilor interdisciplinare. Unul din capitolele publicatiei este dedicat analizei contextului actual si inter-relaţiilor dintre cele doua Moldove (regiunea Moldovei din Romania şi actuala Republica Moldova) cu texte si eseuri de: Sorin Bocancea (analist politic), Flavius Solomon (istorician), Igor Casu (istorician), Petru Negura (sociolog), Matei Bejenaru (artist/curator) si Stefan Rusu (artist/curator). In timp ce un alt capitol este dedicat prezentarii practicilor curatoriale si strategiilor artistice ce explorează contextele teritoriilor divizate cu contributii realizate de: Catalin Gheorghe/Iasi (curator, counter theorist), Laura Schleussner/Berlin (curator), Lilia Dragneva/Chisinau (curator), Binna Choi/Utrecht (curator) si a artistilor invitati: Bik Van der Pol (Liesbethe Bik si Jos Van der Pol), Tilmann Meyer-Faje, Iratxe Jaio si Klaas van Gorcum, Ilya Rabinovich, Gulsun Karamstafa. Publicatia se incheie cu prezentarea filmelor si proiectelor de arta vizuala realizate de catre artisti visuali din Romania si Republica Moldova: Aurelia Mihai, Dan Acostioei, Violeta Ioniţă, Dumitru Oboroc, Lavinia German, Alexandru Grigoras, Veaceslav Druta, Tatiana Fiodorova, Ghenadie Popescu, Vladimir Us, Denis Bartenev, Vadim Tiganas, Igor Scerbina, Lucia Macari, Maxim Cuzmenco. ______________________________________________ Proiectul RO-MD/Moldova in doua scenarii a avut ca scop investigarea comparata a situatiei actuale si a contextelor: social-politic si economic din cele doua Moldove (regiunea Moldova din Romania si actuala Republica Moldova). Actiunile comune intreprinse de catre echipele Centrului pentru Arta Contemporana-KSAK de la Chisinau si cea a Asociaţiei Vector de la Iasi nu au fost altceva decat o incercare de a transa aceste chestiuni şi totodata de a aborda cu alte mijloace problema relatiilor dintre Romania si Moldova, a identifica cauzele si efectele unui parcurs istoric si identitar in contextul politic si economic actual. RO-MD/Moldova in doua scenarii a fost organizat de KSAK- Centrul pentru Arta Contemporana, Chisinau in parteneriat cu Asociatia VECTOR, Iasi, Romania. RO-MD/Moldova in doua scenarii a fost posibil cu suportul financiar al Programului CANTEMIR, Bucuresti, Programului PATTERNS/ERSTE Foundation, Vienna, MONDRIAAN Stichting, Amsterdam. *Centrul pentru Arta Contemporana, Chisinau -[KSA:K] este o institutie independenta, non-profit inregistrata in 2000. Strategia Centrului este axata pe promovarea formelor culturale si practicilor artistice, care reflecta dinamica transformarilor sociale, politice si economice a societatii. Centrul susţine activitati de advocacy in promovarea politicilor culturale adecvate, definirea ai consolidarea pozitiei artistului, a practicilor artei contemporane in societate. Vector> sprijina acele practici artistice legate de rearticularea sociala, constientizarea politica si restructurarea economica care solicita o analiza critica si reflexiva ce ar putea oferi coordonatele unei reorientari a atitudinilor si comportamentelor din perspectiva acţiunii culturale. Banulescu Bodoni 5, ap-2, Chisinau The project publication summarizes the sense of interaction between artists and experts involved in the project, as well as the results of investigated and researched aspects that were in focus of contemporary art practice. The publication includes the artist projects and contributions resulted after interdisciplinary workshop, seminars and production sessions. One of the chapters is dedicated to the current cultural, social and political situation in two Moldova regions with texts and contributions by: Sorin Bocancea (political annalist), Flavius Solomon (historian), Igor Casu (historian), Petru Negura (sociologist), Matei Bejenaru (artist/curator) and Stefan Rusu (artist/curator). The other chapter is dedicated to the presentation of curatorial practices and artistic strategies exploring the contexts of some divided (split up) territories by: Catalin Gheorghe (curator, counter theorist), Laura Schleussner/Berlin, Lilia Dragneva (curator), Binna Choi (curator) and contributions by invited visual artists: Bik Van der Pol (Lisbethe Bik and Jos Van der Pol), Iratxe Jaio&Klaas van Gorkum, Tilmann Meyer-Faje, Ilya Rabinovich, Gulsun Karamstafa. The publication also presents visual art projects and films realized by visual artists from Romania and Republic Moldova: Aurelia Mihai, Dan Acostioaei, Alexandru Grigoras, Lavinia German, Dimitru Oboroc, Violeta Ionita, Tatiana Fiodorova, Vadim Tiganas, Vladimir Us, Vladimir Us, Denis Bartenev, Maxim Cusmenco, Ghenadie Popescu, Veaceslav Druta, Igor Scerbina, Lucia Macari. ______________________________________________ The RO-MD/Moldova in Two Scenarios project aim was to investigate by juxtaposing the current cultural, social and political situation in two Moldova regions. The joint actions undertaken by the project teams from the KSAK - Centre for Contemporary Art in Chisinau and that from the Vector Association in Iasi are nothing else, but an attempt to create a rapprochement and to understand the nature of the relationship between Romanian and Moldovan societies at the present stage, to analyze the causes and effects of a shared historical and identitary trajectory in the context of divided regions and societies.
