Ãn cadrul CHIÈINÄU-ArtÄ, Cercetare Ãn Sfera PublicÄ, artista vizualÄ *Tatiana
Fiodorova *va iniÈia Centrul de Divertisment Åi RecreaÅie - *âROMAÈKAâ*.*

Proiectul se referÄ la o clÄdire numitÄ Ãn cultura oralÄ âRomaÅkaâ,
construitÄ Ãn anii 70 Ãn cartierul Botanica din ChiÅinÄu. Artista Åi-a
propus sÄ activeze locaÈia prin lansarea unui Centru de Divertisment Åi
RecreaÅie.* *Logica este de a stimula potenÅialul creativ al locatarilor Åi
interesul pentru facilitÄÅile neexplorate ale clÄdirii. De exemplu, de acum
Ãnainte pe terasa de pe acoperiÅ ar putea fi organizate petreceri Åi sau
chiar nunÈi, etc. Scopul proiectului este de a reanima funcÅionalitatea
iniÅialÄ a clÄdirii cu ajutorul locatarilor.

*ChiÅinÄu-ArtÄ, Cercetare Ãn Sfera PublicÄ* are ca scop explorarea
discursurilor instituÅionale Åi politice dominante care au modelat
societatea Åi peisajul urban al ChiÅinÄului pe parcursul istoriei recente.
Proiectul este activat sub forma unei platforme multidisciplinare care Åi-a
propus investigarea conexiunilor dintre simbolurile politice Åi propagandÄ,
la fel Åi impactul acestora asupra mediului urban, interrelaÅia dintre
istoriile personale Åi discursul ideologic Ãn raport cu sfera publicÄ.

In the frame of CHISINAU- Art, Research in the Public Sphere the
artist *Tatiana
Fiodorova* will initiate Centre for Entertainment and Recreation entitled *"
Romashka"*. The project concerns a building which oral culture calls
âRomashkaâ, built in the '70s in the Botanica district of ChiÅinÄu. The
artist aimed to activate the project by turning the building into a Centre
for Entertainment and Recreation. The rationale is to encourage the
inhabitants' creative potential and to rouse interest in the building's
unexplored facilities. For instance, the roof terrace could be used to
organise parties and even wedding receptions etc. The aim of the project is
to reviver the original functionality of the building, with the support of
its dwellers.





*CHISINAU- Art, Research in the Public Sphere *is a cross-disciplinary
platform that investigates the connections between political and cultural
symbols and propaganda and its impact on the urban environment, the
interference between personal narratives and imported ideologies and
cultural discourses in relation to the public sphere. The project aim is to
explore the dominant institutional and political discourses that have shaped
the society and the urban landscape of the city of Chisinau in the course of
its recent history.
