English version below. Film Poster is Not Dead 19.11 â 6.12.2013 | 10:00 â 19:00 Vernisaj: 19.11 | 18:00 @UNAgaleria (str. MO 18.11 | 8:00 p.m. | @ Czech Centre About Young Parents | Adam Hanuljak | Slovakia 2006 2012 | 114 ' Having children at a young age is not a natural phenomenon in Europe anymore. But still some young people today become parents and the documentary follows such couples: an ambitious family in the Czech Republic, a couple of hippies in Finland and a single mother in Romania. Free entrance. Facebook event here. We invite you to an exhibition of movie posters reimagining classical films. The exhibition that brings together Czech and Romanian students opens on Tuesday, at UNAgaleria. Film is Not Dead Poster 19.11 â 06.12.2013 | 10:00 till 19:00 | @ UNAgaleria (str BudiÅteanu 10) Opening: 19.11 | 18:00 The movie poster is something of a lost art. In the glory days of the medium the artists captured the spirit of films with stylistic diversity, as in the case of the Czechoslovak film poster, which could be seen in ou last yearâs exhibition (more information here http://www.graphicfront.ro/ro/stirea-gf/expozitii/matei-stefan/1/e180.html). By the '90s, poster art was, in many cases, reduced to headshots of a given pictureâs stars. But what happens if todayâs artists and designers are given total creative freedom to make a movie poster? We addressed art schools in the Czech Republic and Romania with this challenge and the result â 36 selected posters â can be seen at UNAgaleria, starting Tuesday. Facebook event here. If you have not yet read Karel Capek or want to know more about Prague, come Saturday at Gaudeamus book fair to take one of the three books we will launch in the Czech book collection - a project of the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the Czech Centre in collaboration with Curtea Veche publishing.
