Rex is trying to bring in same foreign experience, to cooperate and exchange with similar centers abroad, to give opportunity to young people and to stay vital. Speculating about the future of theater, the arts or culture or even avant-garde culture is always challenging. We work from 1994 in space of ex-Jewish community house. Founded in a very difficult time for Yugoslavian culture (directors of all governmental-founded cultural organizations - read all in Belgrade and Yugoslavia where replaced with ruling political party members) REX had aim to give a roof to all art initiatives that can't enter governmental institutions.
