Subject:  submit sites to Arco Electronico 98

Aleph (http://aleph-arts.org/) have been commisioned by Arco 98 [the
Spanish Art Fair, 12-17 Feb 98] to coordinate the Arco Electronico web
site.

Working title for the page: "the best of the two worlds."

Our intention is to present a selection of 20 - 30 art web sites, all
around the net. We don't want to present institutional or commercially
oriented webs, or webs containing "information" or "documentation" about
works, artists, museums, art centers, festivals or anything else. No
documents or signs: objects in itself. "Specific Objetcs," to ironically
paraphrase Donald Judd, 20 years later.

We would like to find web sites engaged with the critical traditions of
the avant-garde, assuming that net.art is a step within (and against)
them. Our aim is to present a "definitively unfinished" panorama of the
places in which a critical approach to the current transformations of
the concept of artistic experience (or its final vanishement) is held.

We would very much appreciate receiving information about your web, if
you think it fits this criteria.
