Syndicate: admin - cross-posting from <nettime>

folks,

for those of us who are on several mailing lists, cross-posting is a
regular phenomenon, sometimes annoying, sometimes funny, sometimes a
confirmation of shared ideas, interests and concerns. the syndicate-list is
closely related to <nettime> [see also info below], and the division
between the two lists sometimes blurs. or messages relate to the shared
middleground, which is why they get posted to both (and other) lists.

there is a sense of difference, with nettime leaning more towards
net-critical and general media-political issues, while the syndicate is
more culturally oriented. but esp. in times like these, such a distinction
obviously becomes inoperable a lot of the time. there is still a
significant difference it seems between the subscribers of the two lists,
so in some cases cross-posting should be OK - at least, nobody ever
complains about it to me, save for some list-junkies.
