Special sections on Virtual Africa and article on Duchamp highlight new issue.

The MIT Press and Leonardo, the illustrated Journal of the International
Society for the Arts, Sciences and Technology, has released a new issue
featuring artists' statements, historical perspectives, special sections and
other writings from the best and brightest in various fields.

Features in Leonardo 32:2 include:

*A special Virtual Africa section featuring Nezar AlSayyad's article
"Virtual Cairo: An Urban Historian's View of computer Simulation" and Lorna
Abungu's "The National Museums of Kenya: A Brief Overview."

*A piece on Marcel Duchamp's groundbreaking sculpture/image-text system "The
Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even (The Large Glass)" drawn from the
conclusion of Linda Dalrymple Henderson's recent book "Duchamp in Context:
Science and Technology in the 'Large Glass' and Related Works."

*Artists' statements by Chris Foster on the Crinklage process, Rashid
Tukhvatullin on the laser beam as artist's tool and and Adrianne Wortzell on
