<nettime> social circles |
Maybe this goes on since years, but i find that quite un-discreet if not to say intrusive. Don't you ? Cartographies of the Empire are ok, but i dislike the idea of making cartographies of the alternative/underground side. The idea may sound appealing, arty, strategic or whatever. I would say it is just counter-productive and dumb. If we claim some of our groups are TAZ, or similar , why can't we keep them invisible, let them recombine whithout putting them in the light. Afterall, molecules, atoms, genes and the rest don't need projectors, and don't need adn-prints either in order to be known or identifiable. http://www.marumushi.com/apps/socialcircles/socialcircles.cfm?list=nettime&m=1&s=0 chris # distributed via <nettime>: no commercial use without permission # <nettime> is a moderated mailing list for net criticism, # collaborative text filtering and cultural politics of the nets # more info: [email protected] and "info nettime-l" in the msg body # archive: http://www.nettime.org contact: [email protected]
